Substance Recovery Support
At Serene Cove, we provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for women on their recovery journey.
We offer a place where women can step away from environments or influences that have made recovery difficult, while actively encouraging and supporting engagement with external recovery services.
Alongside this, we provide consistent day-to-day support, emotional wellbeing and life skills guidance to help women develop healthier coping strategies, establish positive routines and grow in confidence, which build the foundations for lasting and sustainable change.

Supporting Access to Services
We support women to engage consistently with external recovery and mental health services, recognising the importance of specialist support alongside a stable and supportive living environment. This includes encouraging attendance, supporting with organisation, communication and planning, and helping women to remain engaged with the wider support available to them.

Day-To-Day Support
Support is delivered through regular, informal check-ins, providing space for women to reflect on challenges, build self-awareness, and stay focused on their progress. Women are supported to recognise situations and patterns that may impact their wellbeing and to develop healthier ways of coping that feel realistic and manageable.
This consistent and supportive approach helps to strengthen confidence, promote accountability, and support steady, achievable progress over time.

Building Stability
A stable and structured environment plays a key role in supporting recovery. Women are encouraged to develop routines, engage in meaningful activities, and build a sense of purpose in their daily lives.
This focus on consistency and structure supports emotional wellbeing, reduces uncertainty, and helps women to feel more in control as they move forward.
