Legal Support and Advocacy

Under the guidance of a qualified legal professional, our legal support and advocacy service helps women understand their rights and navigate legal processes with greater confidence.

We assist women in strengthening personal safety, rebuilding family stability, securing housing, and addressing factors linked to re-offending so they can move forward with greater security and independence.

Areas of Guidance

Delivery

We also support women who may be involved with the criminal justice system, including those on probation or at risk of re-offending.

We encourage engagement with probation services, including attending appointments and adhering to licence or court conditions. Through structured support and access to legal advocacy, we help women maintain compliance and navigate requirements more effectively.

Support is offered through flexible meetings, appointments, and ongoing contact, with collaboration across relevant agencies and our qualified legal professional.

Support includes:

  • Personal safety protections, such as non-molestation or restraining orders

  • Family matters, including child arrangements and rebuilding family stability

  • Housing rights, tenancy responsibilities, and homelessness prevention

  • Court processes, probation requirements, and legal appointments

Continued access to our legal guidance may also be available for up to one year after women move on from the service.
